對很多小提琴手來說，一首 Beethoven 或 Brahms 奏鳴曲可以作為中心。一首現代獨奏作品、一首法國奏鳴曲、一首音樂會小品或一首民族風格作品，可以轉換色彩而不讓節目感覺零散。
Written programme
在 LTCL，不需要為每首作品撰寫詳細筆記。書面 programme 必須準確和專業格式：姓名、日期、完整作品標題、樂章、作品編號（如有）、節目次序、各曲時長和總時長。
這聽起來簡單，但它是演奏會紀律的一部分。如果時長錯誤、樂章標題不完整、或節目次序感覺隨意，考生已經失去了 Trinity 所期望的專業呈現感。
